40 Series Microscopes

A precision-built, tamper-proofed microscope uniquely designed incorporating high resolution flat field objectives with wide-angle viewing. This quality,  full-size oil immersion microscope is offered at a great price. This model features a low position graduated mechanical stage allowing students more working room on the stage and more suitable positioning for specimens. Grades 6 to 12. Limited lifetime warranty.

• The 45º angle on the dual viewing head is ideal for two person use
• Reverse nosepiece with 4x, 10x, 40xR and optional 100xR (oil) (R=retractable)
• Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift
• DIN objectives are color coded, parfocaled and parcentered
• Plain stage is 4.75" x 4.5"  with spring-mounted stage clips
• Coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs

• Built-in low position mechanical stage for 100x models
• 1.25 N.A. Abbe Condenser with iris diaphragm for optimizing contrast and resolution
• Built-in mechanical stage allows for smooth x-y control (1mm increments)
